New Ear Festival ’23 – Sat, Feb 25th
Radial 8
Radial is a performance series exploring the intersection of live sonic art, electronic music and emerging expressions in sound and subculture. Born out of the desire to hear adventurous sound-system music in a focused listening environment where both the creator and audience’s norms are challenged. Curated by Kamran Sadeghi and Julia Govor.

Debit
Born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised as an immigrant in the USA, Delia Beatriz aka Debit has long straddled many distinct worlds. As a DJ, her selections burn the unmistakable swing of Latin club music into ironclad techno frameworks, and as a producer and composer, she drifts seamlessly from avant-garde and drone modes into vernacular dance music without hesitation.

Kamran Sadeghi
Kamran Sadeghi is a composer, record producer, interdisciplinary artist and event curator. His diverse body of work can be attributed to his use of sound as a sculptural material. Kamran’s work is difficult to define by a single release or project. He uses nontraditional techniques such as graphic notation, literature, moving image, custom designed instruments, field recording and acoustics in order to invite visceral narratives to emerge in his work. Sadeghi is currently part the group show ‘Broken Music Vol.2’ at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin. His collaborative album, ’42.41’ is with installation artist Zimoun. He recently worked with Matthew Herbert on the UK series TEMPLE. Other distinguished collaborators include Patti Smith, Jean-Luc Godard, Nan Goldin and Sasha Waltz.
