A Modular Collaboration is a kind of networked sonic exchange in which each participant becomes a node in an interconnected system. The whole system is developed from within the group instead of being a pre-existing framework. The workshop by Neumann – on Modular Collaboration – became a recording session at Berklee and formed the initial stage of the process. From the pool of recordings each participant consequently developed a short spatial composition, which you can now experience in our 8-channel Listening Room at Fridman Gallery. Featuring works by Aiden Delaney, Avanti Singh, Cristobal Garcia Belmont, Daniel Neumann, Diego Peralta, Grace Liu, Mila Fossey, Neil Leonard, Olek Nivette, and Takumi Sugai.
